Welcome to the digital home of the Curran and Wade family!
This website has been designed as the hub for our entire family, encouraging connectivity celebrating our history, and planning for the future, no matter where life takes us.
It serves three core purposes: to provide communication channels for sharing news, updates, and events; to feature a store offering exclusive apparel and merchandise so we can proudly carry a little family pride; and , to offer a secure, members-only section for archiving and sharing our collective memories, including photo albums, and other digital content from throughout the years.
12-pointed starburst
The starburst image depicts a deeply personal and symbolic piece of jewellery, rich with meaning for Pat and Leo Curran.
At its heart lies a 12-pointed star, a powerful emblem representing the couple's twelve children. Each point radiates outward, signifying the unique path and collective unity of a large family.
Centrally placed within the star is the pearl heart, which is not just an adornment but the core of a brooch gifted to Pat by Leo. This heart itself is composed of twelve individual pearls, reinforcing the theme of family by offering another dedication—a precious pearl for each child. The combination of the heart (representing love) and the pearls (often symbolising wisdom and purity) speaks to the depth and enduring nature of Pat and Leo's commitment to each other and their children.
